Upscale Security School is a New York State Division of Criminal Justice licensed Security Guard training center certified by New York State and New York City Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
Upscale provides safety and security assessments, and training services to individuals, educational institutions, government agencies, private and public organizations.
Upscale was founded by Captain Terence Duncan in 2014. He has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement. His expertise in homeland security, emergency management, building access surveillance, safety, areas of rescue assistance, and workplace violence conveys valuable up-to-date information to his constituents.
Captain Duncan has evaluated over 50 security sites and educational centers in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Chicago, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Atlanta, North Carolina, and Virginia Beach areas. He volunteers for the Rock Hill Ambulance Corp as an EMS. Captain Duncan and his team of certified instructors have trained thousands of security officers across the State of New York.
